# Manage your day as a clinician

See the visits assigned to you for the day and launch each one from your calendar.

## Before you start

- You are logged in as yourself.
- Appointments have been scheduled for you on the Fleet Calendar. If nothing appears for today, contact your scheduler.

## Steps

### See your visits

1. **Open My Calendar.** Click **My Calendar** in the sidebar to see the appointments assigned to you, or open the **Fleet Calendar** and use the provider filter to focus your own lane.
2. **Review the day.** Each appointment card shows the patient, scheduled time, visit type, and status. Any **Notes / Purpose** or **Route Notes** the scheduler added appear on the appointment's detail view.

### Start a visit

3. **Click the appointment** to open its details.
4. **Click Start Visit.** Fleet Calendar uses **specialty routing**: wound-care patients open in the [Wound Cockpit](../visit-wizard-ehr/wound-cockpit.md), then the [Visit Wizard](../visit-wizard-ehr/overview.md); primary-care patients open in the **Primary Care Cockpit**. The patient and appointment data pre-populate, so you do not have to search.
5. **Document and sign.** Work the visit end to end and finish with **Sign & Lock** — see [Sign Off](../visit-wizard-ehr/sign-off.md).

## Result

As you work, each appointment's status updates on the calendar — **Progress Note In Progress** while you document, then **Visit Completed** once you Sign & Lock — so your scheduler can follow progress throughout the day.

Resuming a draft? Click the same appointment and choose **Continue Visit** to return to where you left off — the wizard autosaves continuously.
