April 2026 release notes
Changes shipped between 2026-04-01 and 2026-04-24. Items are grouped by module. Entries marked ★ are high-impact or frequently requested.
Fleet Calendar
- ★ Fleet Calendar — 30-minute appointments in 45-minute slots. Fixed an issue where dragging a 30-minute appointment onto a 45-minute slot caused the appointment box to disappear from the calendar view. (MED-1321)
- Fleet Calendar — Fleet Calendar module missing on demo environment. Restored the Fleet Calendar module, which had been absent from the demo tenant after a routing configuration change. (MED-1593)
- Fleet Calendar — Provider Calendar and Fleet Calendar validation parity. Applied the same slot-overlap and duration validations used in Provider Calendar to Fleet Calendar so both surfaces enforce identical scheduling rules. (MED-1492)
- Fleet Calendar — Incorrect distance calculation due to hardcoded coordinates. Replaced a hardcoded latitude/longitude fallback with dynamic provider home-address lookup so route distance calculations reflect actual locations. (MED-1680)
- Fleet Calendar — Clinician title displays correctly. Resolved a display issue where the clinician title always showed as "RN" regardless of the provider's actual role. (MED-1676)
My Calendar
- ★ My Calendar — Created appointments now appear in assigned provider's calendar. Fixed a race condition that caused newly created appointments to be missing from the My Calendar view immediately after creation. (MED-1642, MED-1618)
Referral Intake
- ★ Referral Intake — Delete replaced with Archive. Replaced the Delete action on referral records with Archive to prevent accidental permanent data loss and to align with the archiving behavior used throughout the platform. (MED-1692)
- ★ Referral Intake — First name and last name fields are now editable. Resolved a regression that made the First Name and Last Name fields read-only after initial save, preventing corrections without supervisor intervention. (MED-1315)
- ★ Referral Intake — Duplicate patient prevention. Added a guard that prevents multiple patient records from being created when the Create Patient button is clicked more than once in rapid succession. (MED-1677)
- Referral Intake — TIFF image uploads now accepted. TIFF files uploaded to the Documents tab of a referral record previously returned a silent failure; they now upload and render correctly. (MED-1423)
- Referral Intake — Invalid date of birth blocked at save. The DOB field now validates format and rejects future dates or non-existent calendar dates before the record can be saved. (MED-1223)
- Referral Intake — Long filenames no longer overflow the Documents tab. File names that exceed the column width are now truncated with an ellipsis and a tooltip showing the full name. (MED-1469, resolved in March batch; surfaced in April)
Patient Management & Scheduling
- ★ Scheduling — Archived patients excluded from scheduling. Patients with Archived status no longer appear in the provider assignment picker or appointment creation flow, preventing accidental scheduling of discharged patients. (MED-1695)
- Patient Management — Admin can view all patients across the organization. Added an All Facilities filter toggle for practice admins on the All Patients screen, enabling cross-facility patient lookup without switching facility context. (MED-1679)
- Patient Context — Mark as Complete validation enforced. The Mark as Complete button on the Patient Context & Demographics step is now disabled until all mandatory fields are filled, preventing incomplete records from advancing. (MED-1441)
Visit Wizard / EHR
- ★ Visit Wizard — ZusHealth patient data mapped and stored. Patient data imported from ZusHealth is now correctly mapped to the corresponding Visit Wizard fields and persisted to the patient record in Supabase. (MED-1292)
- ★ Visit Wizard — Care Planning: Treatment Plan Narrative added. A Treatment Plan Narrative free-text section has been added to Care Planning (Step 10) so clinicians can document individualized care goals and rationale alongside structured fields. (MED-1667)
- ★ Visit Wizard — Wound Care Progress Note: Initial Evaluation. Added a structured Wound Care Progress Note output for initial evaluation visits, generated from Visit Wizard data at the point of provider attestation. (MED-1149)
- ★ Visit Wizard — Wound Care Progress Note: Follow-Up Visit. Added a parallel Wound Care Progress Note output for follow-up visits, reflecting interval wound changes and treatment updates. (MED-1150)
- ★ Visit Wizard — Bi-directional medication reconciliation. Medication lists are now synchronized across Pre-Charting, Initial Evaluation, Subsequent Visits, Meds & Orders, and the Visit Wizard, so a change in any surface propagates to all others. (MED-1561)
- ★ Visit Wizard — MolecuLight DX capture. Clinicians can now record MolecuLight DX imaging details (fluorescence findings, bacterial load indicators) directly from the Interventions & Treatments step; values flow into the Review Procedure Documentation section. (MED-1980)
- Visit Wizard — Validation error message shows correct step names. Error messages that appeared during step submission previously showed raw internal identifiers (e.g.,
step_wound_assessment) instead of the displayed step name. They now show the label as it appears in the wizard rail. (MED-1672) - Visit Wizard — Family history can now be added. A data-binding regression prevented the Add Family History action from saving; entries now persist correctly. (MED-1675)
- Visit Wizard — DME orders display in correct section. DME orders generated from the Visit Wizard were incorrectly surfacing under the Home Health section of Orders & DME; they now appear under DME Orders. (MED-1111)
- Visit Wizard — Auto-population in Interventions & Treatments cleared on reset. Unintended auto-population of procedure fields from a previous wound's session is now cleared when the clinician selects a different wound or clicks Clear Procedures. (MED-1655)
- Visit Wizard — Wound names standardized. Wound labels across the wizard, progress notes, and billing output now use a consistent naming convention, eliminating mismatches between steps. (MED-1654)
- Visit Wizard — Wound selector works with multiple wounds at the same location. The wound selector was unresponsive when two wounds shared the same anatomical location; the selector now distinguishes them by wound number. (MED-1367)
- Visit Wizard — Wound count indicator correct for single wound. When exactly one wound is present the UI showed "1 of n wounds" with active Next/Previous buttons; both are now suppressed when count = 1. (MED-1346)
- Visit Wizard — Wound Assessment not marked Complete without Tissue Assessment. The Wound Assessment step can no longer be marked Completed unless the Tissue Assessment sub-section (granulation, slough, necrotic, epithelial, eschar percentages) is filled in. (MED-1318)
- Visit Wizard — Wound measurements persist after navigating back. Wound length, width, depth, and area values were reset when the clinician navigated back to the Initial Assessment step; they now retain their saved values. (MED-1297)
- Visit Wizard — Camera reliably opens in Wound Wizard. A regression introduced in a prior patch caused the device camera to fail to open when initiated from the Wound Assessment step; the launch sequence has been corrected. (MED-1296)
- Visit Wizard — Measurement reset on blue button click corrected. Clicking the blue measurement confirmation button no longer resets unsaved measurement fields to zero. (MED-1270)
- Visit Wizard — Multiple image wound measurement calculation fixed. When more than one photo was attached to a wound, the area calculation used only the first image's calibration; it now uses the measurement associated with the active image. (MED-1269)
- Visit Wizard — ROS "View Previous Logs" shows correct visit count. The Review of Systems section displayed one extra historical visit entry due to an off-by-one error in the query; the count now matches the actual visit history. (MED-1272)
- Visit Wizard — Anatomical site search improved. The Add Wound Location → Anatomical Site dropdown now supports partial-word matching and accent-insensitive search, reducing the number of failed lookups on long anatomical site names. (MED-1653)
- Visit Wizard — Wound name overflow fixed. Long wound names in the Wound Assessment section no longer overflow the UI container; they are now truncated with a tooltip. (MED-1260, resolved in March batch)
- Visit Wizard — Manual ICD-10 code entry no longer creates duplicates. Typing in the code field previously fired a lookup on each keystroke, creating multiple identical codes; entry is now debounced and deletions remove only the targeted code. (MED-1243)
- Visit Wizard — Microphone icons removed from ROS and Objective Assessment notes. Unused voice-input microphone icons have been removed from the Review of Systems and Objective Assessment free-text note fields. (MED-1431)
Pre-Charting & ZusHealth Integration
- ★ Pre-Charting — Import Patient Data from ZusHealth. Clinicians can now import a patient's external health record from ZusHealth directly in the Pre-Charting step using the Import Patient Data button. Imported data populates demographics, medications, allergies, and problem list fields. (MED-720)
- ★ ZusHealth — Webhook-based automatic patient data sync. The platform now receives real-time patient data updates from ZusHealth via webhook, eliminating the need for manual re-import when a patient's record changes in ZusHealth. (MED-818)
Medicare Eligibility
- ★ Medicare Eligibility — Payer ID no longer required. Removed the Payer ID as a mandatory field for Medicare eligibility verification; eligibility checks now run on Member ID and insured name alone, matching CMS batch-check behavior. (MED-1537)
Referral Network Health
- ★ Oversight Cockpit — Referral Network Health dashboard. Added the Referral Network Health section to the Oversight Cockpit, giving admins and BD managers a visual map and table of referral sources, volume trends, and conversion rates by referring practice. (MED-1130)
Meds & Orders / DoseSpot
- ★ DoseSpot — Integration issues resolved. Multiple DoseSpot e-prescribing integration defects (authentication token expiry, prescription status not reflecting in Medipyxis, and failed fax routing) have been corrected. (MED-1686)
Mobile (Android)
- ★ Android — Archive option added to All Patients. The Archive action was available on the web but missing from the All Patients list view in the Android app; it is now present and functional. (MED-1712)
Consent
- ★ Consent — SMS consent link loads patient information correctly. Consent forms sent to patients via SMS were returning an "Unable to load patient information" error on mobile browsers; the token resolution logic has been corrected. (MED-1705)
HR & Compliance
- ★ HR & Compliance — Announcements section no longer shows dev/test data in production. Test announcements created during QA were visible to production users; environment-scoped filtering now prevents non-production records from appearing in production. (MED-1682)
- HR & Compliance — Multi-facility assignment removed from employee edit form. Removed the ability to assign an employee to multiple facilities from the employee edit form; multi-facility assignment is now handled exclusively during the New Employee Onboarding stepper. (MED-1685)
- HR & Compliance — Multi-facility selection enabled during onboarding. The New Employee Onboarding stepper now allows assigning an employee to multiple facilities in a single onboarding flow. (MED-1678)
- HR & Compliance — HR documentation updated. Internal HR & Compliance module documentation updated to reflect current field names and workflow steps. (MED-813)
- HR & Compliance — Signup email copyright year corrected. The automated signup confirmation email for new employees displayed the year as 2025; it now correctly shows 2026. (MED-1614)
Business Development
- Business Development — Overlapping pins improved in Live Route Map. When multiple facilities or patients share a close geographic area, their map pins now fan out to reduce overlap and improve tap target accuracy. (MED-1636)
Vendor Portal
- Vendor Portal — Custom forms scoped to originating facility. Vendor custom forms were visible across all facilities in the organization; they are now scoped to the facility that created them. (MED-1665)
Infrastructure / Offline
- Offline Mode — Capacitor + PowerSync (Option B) proof-of-concept completed. Four milestone tickets covering the iOS Capacitor shell, PowerSync read-only downsync, offline write smoke test, and attachment queuing were resolved. These are infrastructure foundations for full offline mode; no end-user UI change in this release. (MED-1659, MED-1660, MED-1661, MED-1662, MED-1663)
- System Integrations — Data synced from external system to Wound Dashboard and Visit Wizard. Patient and wound data sourced from external integrations now propagates correctly into the Wound Dashboard and Visit Wizard on load. (MED-1432)
- Patient Management — Provider home addresses restored for visit route map. A historical data-integrity gap caused existing provider home addresses to be absent from the visit route map; the missing records have been backfilled. (MED-1426)
